In collaboration with one of our customers, Vello Elektro has developed a mobile shore power distribution box for the power supply on the quay of a unique electrical work ship. This 750A distribution box has a fixed power supply and connection to the shore. By means of the high-quality PowerSystax system with 750A connectors, the ship is supplied with the necessary power. With a smart feedback from the ship to the shore power, the voltage is only released in the shore distibution box when both L1-L2-L3-N and Earth are fully connected.In addition, this distribution box is illuminated. This means that work can be carried out safely even in the dark. It is also equipped with a calibrated kWh meter so that the kWh consumed can be properly settled.
This is one of the examples of how we can, in consultation with our customers, develop products that fall just outside the usual framework. Tailor-made according to the customer's wishes, in which we like to search 'out of the box' for what suits our customers' needs best.
